Prawns in my aquarium

Just for fun, I bought a pack of freshwater prawns (those that are used for feeding bigger and more expensive precious fishes in rich men's houses) and gave them a new home in my little aquarium. And boy do they compliment the water plants!

Simple food that are delicious

Roti buns
I don't need imported cheese or exotic fruits on top, I don't need roasted cha siew or teriyaki chicken in it. Just gimme my simple yet delicious roti bun hot from the oven.

Korean Bibimbap from a Singapore foodcourt
You don't need to go to a posh Korean restaurant to eat authentic Korean food. Sometimes you just need to spend a few dollars at a food court.

What is Mr Cat thinking?

cat staying downstairs
Cats always tend to look like they've got something on their minds. Or were they just staring blankly into the air, since they've got nothing else better to do? Maybe they were thinking "What's for lunch today? Please don't tell me is the same old can food?", or "Which spot should I sleep on today? Maybe we can do outdoor today on that patch of grass?"...

One good bowl of instant noodles

Instant noodles from Hong Kong
Instant bowl noodles imported from Hong Kong, and a very Hong Kong flavor indeed - Prawn wanton soup!

Instant noodles from Hong Kong
The dry instant noodles are not like those typical instant noodles. In fact this looks more like dried handmade wanton mee to me!

Instant noodles from Hong Kong
Though the soup is not genuine wanton noodles soup that is brewed for long hours in real meat, and not a single prawn or wanton is found, the noodles has still made it all worthwhile.
